Even a small reduction in speed brings a disproportionate fuel saving. In 2025-26, 8% of scheduled crossing time went unused for a major Australian metropolitan ferry network. To make sure they arrive on time, ferries arrive ahead of schedule. More energy spent for no benefit.

A live target speed for the master to track to. Displayed on a dedicated display, or as a standard NMEA value.
Standalone system
Ferry Goodtime tracks the vessel with its own built-in GPS and stays current with your timetable over its own 5G connection.
Timetable tracking
Your published timetable is followed automatically. When the schedule changes, updates come in however you already send them. The schedule can be overridden on the spot, from the display, a phone, or a browser.
Stay in control
The speed is advisory. It is always within posted speed limits, and overridable by simply ignoring it.
